The bug with truncated display dialogs in OS's AS 1.7/1.8 is even dependent
on whether or not you have one of the standard icons in it or not. Add a
'with icon 2' to a perfectly good display dialog and suddenly the last
paragraph or two disappears. It appears related to the actual physical width
of the dialog.
This bug has been reported a few times by various people, so far without
recognition or comment. Presumably that means it's a well-known, boring
"known issue" which has already been addressed before anyone mentioned it
here? Chris? It's playing havoc with my scripts.
