A recent poster (I forgot who) noted that Panorama does not have
multi-user capabilities and recommended Valentina. Panorama in fact does
have a client/server version -- and as a ram-based database I would guess it
has got to be the fastest multi-user database around. It seems that
Panorama's biggest marketing problem has been that it was not PowerPC native
until recently.

Valentina is very interesting, but has no report writer and no
built-in ability to create custom data entry forms -- elementary features in
other database products. With Valentina, you've got to roll your own in
C++ or RealBasic, which makes it really only useful embedded in another
application of as an invisible back-end database.
