In the early days, as I understand it, this kind of "attachable" application
was referred to as a "tinkerable" application. Some feel that "attachable"
is a term that should refer more specifically to applications that implement
a "Scripts" menu which can be populated with scripts placed in a "Scripts"
folder in the application's folder.
If you ascribe to these distinctions, Script Debugger is both attachable and
tinkerable. There are a few other applications with this double
sophistication, such as Marco Piovanelli's scriptable styled text editor,
Style.
