Re: Regarding the "info for" command

I am trying to set up a script to run on a remote server. The script will
perform some action on files added to a folder. The problem I am dealing
with is that I don't want to invoke the script until all the files in the
receiving folder are completely copied into the folder.

I was looking at some of the folder action scripts that are in the Scripting
Additions directory, but I don't need all the verbosity, and they seem to
rely on a osax called "label index" at least I think it's an osax. In any
event, is there any way to check if a file is available merely by using the
"info for" command?

Thanks,

Rob S.
