Newbie question

Sorry to bother you all with this, but I'm very new to apple script, and I
can't find a way to do this.

I need a script to rename files in a folder
I.e.

<filename>-01.jpg renamed to <filename)_200x200.jpg
<filename>-02.jpg renamed to <filename)_160x160.jpg
<filename>-03.jpg renamed to <filename)_140x140.jpg

Etc.

Does any one have a sample script which can do this?

Kind regards
