I don't find either of your extracts from Chuq's private messages, rude

Paul, I agree with Chuq. If you're _that_ unhappy, unsubscribe or start
your own list.

If you were intending to spam me, I would filter your mail too. I find
your intent to spam far more rude and agreesive than anything Chuq has
said.

This seems like a very reasonable prioritisation decision
I empathise with Chuq. I get busy at work too, and I sometimes have to
make unpopular decisions as to where my time will be most usefully
devoted.
Let's not forget this mailing list is a FREE service, generously provided
for the good of the applescript community at large. This continued
whining merely demonstrates an unappreciative audience.
