AppleScript to Encrypt PDF

  • Subject: AppleScript to Encrypt PDF

Has anybody figured out a way to save an encrypted PDF with AppleScript? I read Adobe's IAC for Acrobat 4.0 and can't seem to find any way to use the encryption stuff. I want to be able to encrypt a pdf into a set of separate encrypted documents for some end users. I know I could purchase Player to handle controlling the UI, but I was hoping for a more elegant situation (ie native).

TIA
David
