CarbonLib 1.2.5 is now available via the Software Update control panel.
Because Script Editor is a Carbonized application, it is probably a good
idea for AppleScripters to download and install the latest version of
CarbonLib. (CarbonLib is still undergoing improvement in anticipation of
March 24; in general, it is a good idea for EVERYBODY who is running
Carbonized applications to update to the latest version.)
However, CarbonLib 1.2.5 does NOT cure the blinking-menu-title cosmetic
problem, which affects not only Script Editor but, I think, other Carbonized
applications, as well.
Perhaps somebody from Apple could let us know whether there is any specific
AppleScript-related benefit from this latest version.
