My AppleScript-Users List friends:

Based on the press of other priorities, not to mention the enthusiastic
volume of list traffic, I have reluctantly decided that I can no longer
stay active on this list.

When, after a multi-year drought, I bought a new Mac a few years ago, it
was AppleScript that rekindled my long-dormant enthusiasm for
programming, and it was this list that offered encouragement as I made
all those classic rookie mistakes. {No, I'm not trying to take sides in
the scripting vs. programming debate; just let it lie. ;^}

I've enjoyed learning and (I hope) contributing -- sometimes vigorously,
always (I hope) politely. Keep up the good work and look for me
occasionally on Macscrpt. I hope someday to add some scripting-related
products to the OS X corpus, and I am always happy to answer questions
about (or try to fix a bug in) in my existing products.

Cheers,
Eric
