Except that Toast chokes on almost all of the MP3s I own, all of which have
been ripped with various versions of SoundJam.
If I want to make an audio CD I have to convert the MP3s to AIFF to ensure
the CD is successful.
Even with this problem, I still much prefer SoundJam over iTunes, if only
for the way the playlist sorting/display works.

I don't totally disagree, but you're missing one very big feature -- the
ability to write directly to CDs (admittedly only with the new models).
