Apple event timed out II

I am using FileMaker Pro to controll SIMS and MacRADIUS servers with program
linking and Applescript over a 64kb ISDN link.

Sometimes I get a long wait when I try to set up a new account and then an
"Apple Event Timed Out" message, I think it comes from MacRADIUS.

Any Clues about attracting an applications attention over program linking
before sending it commands??
