I'm not really familiar with the IPTC format but if it's a standard format
then I don't see why PC machines wouldn't be able to extract them. I
created
a new blank jpeg/jfif file in GraphicsConverter just to see where the info
went. It did go into a "ANPA" resource in the resource fork (ignored by
PCs)
as well as in the data fork with the image. The docs mention something
about
it being a standard format. So is it garbled or absent on a PC?

You can also export the info to a text file but that's probably less
convenient.

If it's a matter of simple character translation within the data I may be
able
to help but if the format's just plain wrong then I don't know what to
suggest.
