If you're not on a "new world" system you won't see the function keys option
until you "patch" the keyboard control panel... You'll need keyboardPatcher

I'm not on a new world system (WallStreet PowerBook is the newest hardware I have). I wouldn't use the Fkeys anyway. I'm more mnemonic in memory, so I prefer the letter + modifier combinations available with OSA Menu or OneClick, and you have to reach for Fkeys too, where I can fire off the others without my hands moving. In nearly two decades of computer use (even with DOS) I've hardly ever bothered with Fkeys. But lots of people like to use them, so it's good that they're there.
