I would recommend that you use Prefab Player for this. We have to use it even for our single page EPS files. Weird things start to happen when you select omit TIFF and EPS. We would get a PC EPS when we asked for a Mac EPS and vice versa. Then there were other problems that also came up. But only when using omit. Since we save EPS with omit TIFF and EPS, Prefab Player was the only way to proceed. Selecting spreads would be easily done this way.
