I am a graphic designer here at Fujitsu Compound Semiconductor in San Jose
CA. I generate along with other things, two large catalogs per year. The
largest being 700+ pgs. of tables, charts, graphs drawn in Illustrator and
brought into a Quark document describing each semicondutor device we offer.
The other duty is producing new datasheets as new devices are being
introduced. My question is this: when I revise an existing datasheet is it
possible to create a script that would automatically update the same device
in the catalog. In other words, if I have XYZ datasheet (about 4pages in
long) and I'm revising some charts on that datasheet can a script be run
that update the XYZ datasheet in the databook? The reason I'm asking this is
that I need to update simultaneously in two locations at once. The catalog
and datasheets are both Quark documents.

Since I am beginner in this I need some reference material, books to help
in this project. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,

Rob Duvall
