Arthur..."do script" is definitely new in Acrobat v5.0. I've used it
successfully a couple of times when AS has failed to work the way it claims
to in the dictionary.
You can either use the command to "call" a JavaScript that is present in a
stand alone file somewhere on the machine or you can use it to "pass"
JavaScript directly into Acrobat (a bit like the relationship between AS and
Visual Basic in, say, MS Word).
The fact that Adobe people on a panel didn't know this detail is not
something I find surprising!
