FWIW, the documentation says:
"FileMaker Pro supports nearly all of the events and objects defined in the
Core, Table, Database, and Miscellaneous suites."
That probably refers to version 3 and later; according to the notes, scripts
written with prior versions wouldn't compile properly in 3, so presumably
big changes were made to the object model.
