You can do this by making a copy of the folder actions extension and
changing the file type of the copy from 'appe' to 'APPL' (this can be done
with file buddy, numerous other utilities, or applescript itself). When that
is done, you'll find that you can show and change the memory allocation in
the standard info window. Ramp it up as high as you want to go, then change
the folder actions copy back into an 'appe' and use it to replace the
original.
