With System 9.1, if I try to open that script with Script Editor, my PB G3 2000 locks up solid--can't get to Macsbug or anything, have to hard restart.

I just want to be able to view it and make future changes as needed.

Any ideas how I can regain access to that script?

Have you tried opening it in Smile or some other third-party editor?
