Apple System Profiler - devices & volumes

  • Subject: Apple System Profiler - devices & volumes

I'm trying to figure out a way to get the information using Apple System
Profiler to determine whether a machine has a ZIP drive attached to it.
This should show up in the Devices & Volumes section in Apple System
Profiler, but I have not been able to figure out a nice way to retrieve
this information with applescript. Getting the standard information like
IP address, RAM installed, etc is pretty straightforward, but getting info
on connected devices does not appear to be.

Any ideas or examples out there?
macOS 9.1
ASP 2.5.7

thanks!
Jonathan
