I'm glad you've managed to bond with your clipboard in this way, John.
Perhaps I'm fortunate in having an entire harem of clipboards to honour and
obey me, courtesy of CopyPaste (and they don't run off and abandon me when I
restart, either).
Of course, this doesn't answer the thorny issue of why the Finder leaps to
the front in some situations where it did not before...

Ah-ha! Thank-you Emmanuel. Yes. The line containing 'original item' is what
was causing the problem. Knowing that makes dealing with it a lot easier.
But still, the question remains, why does this happen, and why, in
particular, when 'original item' is run?
