Thanks to everyone who responded to previous posts. I think this is
interesting, so I looked into it a bit more. Next, I will actually go to the
Applesite to see what I can see. So far,

Notes about changing the name of the "Applications (Mac OS 9)" folder:

It can be changed with a script, but not manually via "Get Info" or click &
wait.

Any folder with the name "Applications (Mac OS 9)" will get the special
icon. Only the original folder has the limitation on changing the folder
name. It doesn't matter what you change the name of that folder to, it has
the "can't change name" property. "Documents" has the same property, while
"System Folder" does not.

What is the Finder dictionary entry for this property? Can it be applied to
other folders? I wouldn't mind having the ability to keep my users from
"fingergepoken" my output folders. I can imagine many nefarious uses. :)
