I'd agree it's more command-oriented than I'd _like_, but I disagree
completely with the suggestion that it's not "really useful".

That seems to be a style thing -- BBEdit too acts on windows rather than
documents. One more (admittedly small) hurdle for newcomers.

I don't know that something so inexpensive can justify a complete reworking
to support a full object-model implementation, but I'd like to see it.
