This is getting a bit silly, but given Apple's penchant for claiming
ownership of all kinds of things, and pursuing legal remedy
vigorously, I offer this:
I have not, to my knowledge agreed that Apple has any rights to use
my posts to this list in any form of *copyrighted* compilation,
unlike the Compuserve forums I participate in where the terms of
service are explicit about such things. I can find nothing to this
effect in the list rules.
If Apple is to assert compilation copyright I would expect that, as I
have not agreed to this, they would seek my permission to use any of
my words, past or future, in said compilation.
