help with a tcp/ip script

  • Subject: help with a tcp/ip script

i am looking to create a script that will release and reassign an ip address
in the tcp/ip control panel. essentially, i must open tcp/ip (i've got that
much), select the options button, choose "inactive" then click ok, then
select options again, choose active then ok and close the control panel.
unfortunately, i know nothing about scripting and this particular control
panel is neither recordable nor does it appear to have a dictionary for this
level of activity. any thoughts or suggestions on how to proceed would be
appreciated. thanks.
