Personally, I'm fine with people distributing what I say, provided
the following:
- My words are not changed.
- My email address and phone number are not included.
So if you can find a way to remove the email addresses and footers
from your archives, that would be okay with me. This would be a
little tricky because quoted bits within messages often contain email
addresses...it's probably insurmountable.
For what it's worth, I consider an email list like group private
email. I give my permission to use my words, properly attributed to
me, for the greater good (and if you want to comment on that phrase,
please don't do it here on the list). I give my permission to use my
email address only for the purpose of direct correspondence between
subscribers of this list and me, as relates to the business at hand,
i.e., AppleScript, and I do _not_ give my permission to use or
distribute my email address for any other use.
These are neither complete nor legal statements, just my feelings.
