I've read that there are issues with URL Access Scripting that are corrected
with an update that requires MacOS 9.1. (I'm on MacOS 8.6)
1. Does anybody know exactly what those issues are.
2. Is there are reasons why one should avoid URL Access Scripting to FTP
large files? I like it because its free and my clients already have it on
their machines for me to script.
I've written an dropApp. appleScript that zips a folder of files and then
uses URL Access to FTP the large zip'd file (7 MB or so) to and from a
dedicated FTP server. Sometimes the file will not unzip because they are
corrupted. It always seems to work from my machine, but not on some files
from my clients.
