It could also have been partly an API thing. The long name calls might not
have been out early enough in the cycle to avoid the time thing for the
Finder crew. And yes they could roll their own, but that would just mean
re-engineering later to use the regular stuff...there are better things to
do with the time.

I was disappointed.
