Running this, saved as an application...

display dialog "This is a test."

...yields, among other system related stuff breaking, the following error:

"Dialog Test" doesn't understand the event <<sysodlog>> message.

This was tested, on OS 9.1, by disabling the 5 security extensions only, with standard additions enabled.
