I need to create a script to automate a page layout process.
I need help choosing the program to do this.
Here is the process:
I have a text file with 20,000 names.
I want to take a pre drawn graphic that does not change and duplicate it
multiple times on a page for as many pages needed to get 20,000 instances of
this graphic. While I'm doing this, I need to place a different name
overlaying each graphic.
What would be the best program to script this?
- Freehand
- Illustrator (is this scriptable?)
- InDesign (is this scriptable?)
- QuarkExpress
Where can I find some scripts to use as a starting point?
