It worked for me by just following the advice in the ReadMe. [You may not
care: this version of iTunes seems to be dying after a few minutes of
running in the background...destroying something such that it will then not
play anything until after a reboot of the machine. There are threads about
this in the MacFixIt forums, and I've seen it here.]
