Not to sound anti-AppleScript, but if you are open to using an application
instead of writing a script to do it, I would suggest that you check out
DiskTracker <http://www.disktracker.com/>. I've been using DiskTracker for
years now, and it's simply the best. Be sure to check it out before you
spend too much time writing your own solution with AppleScript.
