My Ambitious-Scripting-Project-for-2001 is to write a script that will do exactly that, and more. Currently in progress, my script will hopefully be able to batch process files, reading IPTC data directly from the file's resource fork, so you don't actually have to "open" the files at all... Please let me know if anybody is interested in my venture, and may be able to give advice on how to best use - or bypass - several OSAXen.

Pier

I am trying to write a script that will extract the
caption
information (IPTC/NAA file info) from a picture that will
be uploaded to a website. My problem is that captions have
to be uploaded as a separate text file.
