It does. I just checked the docs. I've also tried it on two or three
other ftp servers that I have accounts with.

No, I haven't. I guess i can try that next. It's not that great of a
problem, since I run the ftp server myself, and can (and do) transfer
files directly through the file system over appletalk. I was just trying
to see if I could program it at all.
