Yep. I find that nearly as befuddling as the fact that otherwise brilliant
and remarkable people attribute the most amazing things to Apple in general
and the appleScript team in particular. (Not to mention the much-abused list
moms!)
I suppose if we look hard enough we could find demons everywhere.
It's probably inevitable when you have large numbers of smart, hard working
people taking on massively complex tasks in a competetive business market
with ever-shifting technology, strategies and corporate priorities serving a
widely diverse, perpetually changing and growing market demanding the
lastest and greatest product without any bugs or problems at the lowest
price.
Sometimes I'm just thankful we can get any of this crap to work at all
despite ourselves and our many demons.
