iBuild question

I downloaded the new version of iBuild this morning, and they did fix
the on idle bug. My digital sundial program now works. Only one
problem: it won't update the solar time in the background, which is
confusing, since I pried open iBuild with ResEdit, and it claims in its
SIZE resource that it can background. Anybody have any idea what I'm
doing wrong or how to work around this problem? Thanks in advance for
any help anyone can provide. Copies available upon request for anyone
who wants it.
