Thanks but what is the syntax to call a PerlScript from an AppleScript?

If it is run from inside of an app such as MacPerl

tell application "MacPerl"
open file "Macintosh HD:Path Folder1:Path Folder2:hello.pl"
end tell

You can also send info to the app through interprocess communication

I have heard that OSA Compliant Scripting Languages can call scripts
written in other languages such as an AppleScript calling a Perl
Script. Is this possible? If it is how would I call a Perl Script
say hello.pl from an Applescript?
