We use iBuild Pro (www.acruxsoft.com) for the MacScripter's Magazine. You
can download iBuild and experiment with it to your hearts content. If it
doesn't meet your needs, tell them why. Acrux does listen. While it can't
make menu's, like Facespan can, it has features of its own, and sure beats
Facespan in price ($30).

iBuild's scripting language is AS. MacScripter's Magazine is, in a way, an
interface, allowing us to do all kind of cool things (like allowing people
to add an e-mail message to a database from within the magazine; or display
an e-mail message of their own into the magazine. On most pages, the
magazine shows a Mac desktop, and in an earlier magazine we had the user's
hard disk name on the desktop and displayed the current time in the menu
bar. Don't know if many people noticed that, but it was fun!). The fourth
issue came with a separate interface project ("helplet") to extract URLs,
e-mail addresses etc. from a text, using Regex commands. Worked well, except
that texts accepted by drag-and-drop are limited to 32k.

HTH,

Bert
Who's a beta tester of iBuild and loves it that bugs reported are fixed and
requests for features often get honoured.
