I'm using the same sort of interface to call AppleScripts from ListSTAR, and so
far have been hanging out at AppleScript 1.5.5 and OS 9.1. Because ListSTAR has
some trouble with aliases under OS X, I've not been asked to upgrade the list
servers to OS X, but its disappointing to see no progress on this issue. It
seems so important, not just to CGIs and to ListSTAR, but to any "script server"
architecture. I mean,
tell application "My Script" to DoItsThing()
should work for a script just like it does for an application, running the
application if needed and calling the handler.
