Hi,

I'm far from being an AS ace and therefore turn hopefully to you people with
my problem:
Is there a script that can identify installed apps on a computer?

What is "identify" supposed to mean in this context?
Get the names of all installed apps?
Get the name or other properties of an application file specified by it's creator type?
Or the presence or absence of a certain app file?
Or what else? Please elaborate, then we'll be able to be more specific.

I have
developed a FileMaker data base that I want to be able to send feed-back via
the email software installed on a computer.

What would the contents of this feedback be?

Frank Watzl
