Just downloaded the Guide book module on program linking. I followed all
the instructions (two iBooks linked by a router with manual IP addresses
set in OS 9) but when I ran the sample script:
set remote_finder to application "Finder" of machine
"eppc://192.168.1.100"--my setting
using terms from application "Finder"
tell remote_finder
beep
end tell
end using terms from
The sending computer hangs with a spinning ball and the receiving
computer doesn't do anything.
Is program linking working for other people?
