Terminal and Telnet (OS X)

Hi All,

I am attempting to query a remote unix server with OS X's Terminal app.
using telnet.

My problem is I am using the do script command, and each time this is
called a new Terminal window is opened.

Does anybody have any experience with this or any similar situations.

Basically, I need to start the telnet session, send the commands,
capture the results, and then clear the buffer before the next command
is sent. I need to keep the same telnet session and window open at all
times.

Any help, or advice gratefully appreciated.

Regards,
