This thread reminds me........
I have been scripting in ARA 3.5 on OS 9.2.1, iMac 400DV ruby.
When I installed OS9.2.1 it installed ARA 4.0 and I was unable to setup an
ARAP connection. It seems that they took this functionality out, however it
is still in the Network SS comands. When I try to make a connection, and
error orrurs (I can't remember which one), but itr basically means you can't
make that type of connection anymore.
So, I down-graded to ARA 3.5. Now NSS won't get the state of any connection
properly, but to my shock and joy, the Remote Access Commands OSAX is working
again.
Can anyone verify that the Remote Access Commands OSAX works again in ARA 4.0
or is it just on this setup?
thanx
