Sorry, but you're not special.

In the japanese editor, execute the script "path to me" This will return
the path to the Japanese script editor. Open the package (you'll need to
use contextual menus for this) in that path. Inside the package is a
folder that contains all the foreign-language script editors. Stuff that
folder. Trash the preferences file for the Japanese editor. Rebuild
the desktop.

That should fix the problem.
