Um, how about

tell application "Tex-Edit Plus"
paste
end tell

PS: you can discover tonnes about Tex Edit by just clicking the "record"
button in script editor, and then doing stuff in text-edit, which will
kindly write out AppleScript for you to replicate all those actions.
