This is exactly what I am doing, it selects the line but does not paste.
maybe it matters that I am using Smile, but someone told mo once id does not
matter.

I did "record" in Smile but it still did not paste, it seemed to paste to
the Smile script window and I want to paste to the Tex-Edit text.
