Finder selection property broken in 10.1?

I notice that the Selection property has been removed from the Container
class in the Finder 10.1 dictionary. Can anybody (officially) explain why,
and what impact this will have?
I can still get the Finder selection in a script, but I can't seem to set
it. Can anybody confirm or refute this issue?
