Because I'm partially ambidexterous--and for certain tasks, left-hand
dominant. I deal and hold playing cards southpaw; I often do not switch
the fork to my right hand after cutting a piece of meat; and my left hand
types more accurately than does my right.

But my right hand is more at home with a mouse than my left--even if I
weren't using a right-handed mouse (MS Intellimouse explorer).
