OS 9 Scripting Additions don't work in OS X. Only a few scripting additions
exist for OS X; see <http://www.osaxen.com>. AFAIK, the four listed there
are the only ones besides Standard Additions that exist so far (Acme isn't
included.)

There is some hope; Eric Grant has written a plug-in that will allow
programmers to produce osaxen that will work in both environments. However,
for now, you will probably need to try to do what needs doing in pure
AppleScript. A bit more challenging, but why don't you tell the list what
specific Acme commands you need? Sorts, insert/delete from list, etc?
