Invisible scripts in Script menu

  • Subject: Invisible scripts in Script menu

I was happily using the new Script menu in OS 10.1 with a few scripts I had
added. Then I clean-reinstalled OS 10.1 for unrelated reasons. I have now
re-installed the Script menu, but scripts I put in ~/Library/Scripts/ cannot
be seen in the Scripts menu, nor in Script Runner. They have the extension
".scpt". The built-in scripts and folders in /Library/Scripts/ are visible
in both Menu and Runner.

I have uninstalled and re-installed a new Script menu, closed and re-opened
Script Runner, logged out and in, all to no avail. Any other tricks I should
try?
